Collection drives are a simple way to bring people together around a shared purpose. Whether you organize one through your school, business, church, neighborhood or community group, the items you collect help LOR stay prepared with new clothing, toiletries and other essentials for children who need them.
Every drive also helps introduce more people to LOR’s mission. By inviting friends, coworkers, classmates or neighbors to participate, you are not only filling our shelves — you are helping build a community that is ready to respond when a child needs support.

Student Service League
What is the Student Service League?
The Student Service League is designed to provide students with meaningful opportunities to earn community service hours without requiring them to volunteer on-site at our facility.
Who can Participate?
The program is open to students of all ages who need service hours for graduation, National Honor Society (NHS), or other school-related service requirements.
How does it Work?
LOR invites students to organize a four-week collection drive to help us gather some of the items most needed by the children and families we serve.

Community Collection Drives
Community collection drives are a great way for businesses, churches, neighborhoods, sports teams, civic groups and other organizations to support LOR together. Drives can be tailored to fit the size and interests of your group while helping us collect the items we pack into care kits.
