STOCKING OUR SHELVES!
The Stocking Drive helps Lowcountry Orphan Relief prepare for the year ahead by filling our shelves with new clothing, hygiene items and other essentials used in Care Kits.
When a child experiences displacement or instability due to abuse, abandonment or neglect, even basic items can suddenly be missing. The items we collect during the Stocking Drive helps make sure we are ready with clean clothes, personal care items and other essentials when a child needs them.
Our goal is to collect enough to help stock our shelves for the coming year. What you give today can become part of a Care Kit a child receives tomorrow.
WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
Important Dates:
November 2nd:

Stockings are available for pick-up.
November - December:

Shop for the items on your stocking list and return purchased items to OR Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Deadline is December 17th

Final day to return stockings and donated items.
Stockings:
We provide small red stockings (while supplies last) that include a slip with suggested items to purchase. You can pick up these stockings from our office. Please click the link below to sign up.
Virtual Stocking Slips:
Can’t make it to LOR to pick up a stocking slip? We can email one to you. Simply sign up using the Google form below, and we’ll send your stocking slip directly to your inbox. Then shop for the requested items and drop them off at LOR by the deadline.
Sponsor a Stocking:
Skip the shopping and still make an impact. Sponsor a stocking or make a monetary donation to help us fill the gaps on our shelves.

Important Guidelines:
We kindly ask that you keep the following in mind:

Follow our regular donation guidelines, these are the items we pack in our care kits.

We do not accept donations of toys.

Instead of gifts cards, please donate monetarily.

Holiday themed clothing is fun, but these children need the ability to wear the items you purchase for several months. We suggest avoiding clothes with designs including Santa Clause, Frosty, Rudolph, etc.

The deadline for dropping off your items is December 17th.
